After the disruption to our activities (and to choral singing everywhere) caused by the pandemic, and a year of upheaval in 2022 as we tried to find a new way forward,
Derby A Cappella is at last back in business!
We have a new repertoire, small but growing, of songs from the musicals, popular songs from the last 50 years (including by the Beatles, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Cindi Lauper and - new for us! - sea shanties).
Although a smaller male-voice ensemble than pre-pandemic we remain true to our roots as an a cappella, close four part harmony group performing in a style loosely inspired by the barbershop tradition.
